I have had an interest in photography since I picked up my Grandad's camera (which I still own). I still remember going with him to buy it, a second hand Mamiya Sekopr SLR. My interest was rekindled when I started to travel with work in the 1990s. Not having a darkroom I was always fustrated with what I could produce until I bought a slide scanner in 2000.
My passion is for the unspoilt places in our world, the landcape and wildlife that can be found there. In 2009 I was amazed to be Highly Commended in the Veolia Environnement Wildlife Photographer of the Year in 2009 with my image 'Footprints' - see News. It was a real honour to have one of my images in such a magnificent collection. I hope you enjoy my images.
